Scheduled Launch lets a survey source go live automatically without manual intervention at the scheduled moment.

Before you schedule

  • The source must have a valid survey URL with working redirects
  • Scheduling is per source, not per project — schedule each source individually
  • Only the project manager receives notifications when a scheduled source launches, pauses, or is cancelled
  • To cancel a schedule, change the source status back to Draft

Schedule a source

Open your project

Navigate to the Sources tab.

Open the status dropdown

Click the status dropdown on the right side of the source row.

Select Schedule

Choose Schedule from the actions menu. You can also select Launch and change Launch Now to Schedule Launch.

Set date, time, and timezone

Use the date picker and time field. Timezone defaults to your account timezone.

Confirm

Click Schedule Launch. The source badge updates to Scheduled.

Verify

Hover over the status badge to see the exact scheduled date, time, and timezone in a tooltip.
At the scheduled time, Research Desk launches the source automatically and notifies the project manager.

Cancel a scheduled launch

Change the source status to Draft. This removes the schedule and returns the source to an editable state.
