# Account Access

> Sign in to Research Desk, accept invitations, reset your password, and understand enterprise SSO.

## Sign in

Go to [https://www.researchdesk.com](https://www.researchdesk.com) and sign in with the email address associated with your Research Desk account.

If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO), the login page recognizes your email domain and routes you through your identity provider.

## Accepting an invitation

New users receive a branded invitation email from Rep Data. The email guides you through:

1. Verifying your email address
2. Setting your password
3. Confirming access to the correct account and products

If you did not receive an invitation, contact your organization's Research Desk administrator or reach out to [clientsuccess@repdata.com](mailto:clientsuccess@repdata.com).

## Reset a forgotten password

If you forget your password:

1. Open the Research Desk login page
2. Select the forgot-password option
3. Enter your account email
4. Follow the reset link sent to your inbox

Reset links are time-limited. Request a new link if the previous one expires.

## Permissions and product access

Your account permissions determine which projects, accounts, and actions you can access. Permissions are assigned at the account level by your organization's administrator.

When signing in through SSO for the first time, Research Desk preserves your existing permissions and product access.

## Enterprise SSO

Enterprise customers can configure SAML-based SSO so users authenticate through their corporate identity provider. SSO setup is managed by your organization's administrator in coordination with Rep Data.

  If you are unsure whether SSO is enabled for your organization, try signing in with your work email. Research Desk will prompt you to use SSO when it is configured for your domain.
