# ACTIVITY (POST)

POST variant of [ACTIVITY (GET)](/research-defender/endpoints/get-activity), with the parameters sent as a JSON body. Authenticate with the `x-api-key` header. See the [Activity Integration guide](/research-defender/guides/activity/02-integration) for the request body, `Range` values, and a full sample.

    ## Authentication


    Client-side calls (SEARCH, REVIEW, GETTOKEN) use your **publishable key** in
    the URL path. Server-side lookups (destination_platforms) use your **private
    key**. For enhanced protection, use V3 server-to-server tokens (GETTOKEN) or
    V4 Hashed Validation.
