# ACTIVATION

Activates or deactivates surveys in the SEARCH duplicate check. Send a JSON body with:

* `Route` — the API the change applies to. `search` (SEARCH API) is the default.
* `Survey_Number` — survey numbers separated by commas, for example `1111,2222,3333,4444`.
* `Type` — `1` to deactivate the surveys from the dupes check, `2` to activate them.

The response reports the action taken and the number of records processed. Authenticate with the `x-api-key` header.     ## Authentication


    Client-side calls (SEARCH, REVIEW, GETTOKEN) use your **publishable key** in
    the URL path. Server-side lookups (destination_platforms) use your **private
    key**. For enhanced protection, use V3 server-to-server tokens (GETTOKEN) or
    V4 Hashed Validation.
